Ally & Rob - Chicago Engagement Session

Give me all the gloomy Chicago engagement sessions. I love Chicago when its sunny, I do… but when the clouds roll in those city tones are some special. I have seen these guys a few times at other weddings last year, so I was SUPER excited when they booked an engagement session with me :) These guys are already married since im so behind in posting sessions and weddings from last year… its still one of my favorites and needed to be shared still!! <3

Kayla & Roger - Engagement Session - Chicago

Chicago engagement sessions were in high demand last year. I was NOT complaining. I mean the drive kinda sucks some days (I hate, no, I LOATHE traffic). Kayla & Roger had their October wedding last year, those photos are to come, but wow. They ROCKED their e session. One of my favorites <3

Bridgette & Danny - The Pavilion at Sandy Pines - Wedding

We all know how much I love Sandy Pines, but Bridgette and Danny literally had the best day at Sandy Pines. The weather was perfect. We had a sunset… boy did we have a SUNSET.

Its always super special to watch a family member or friend marry a couple. It always seems like it means even that much more when its someone close to you. Bridgette’s aunt was one of the best family members I have seen get up in front of a crowd of people and deliver a powerful and heartfelt union.
What a great day. I am so happy for these two and I cant wait to see where they go in life!
These two are now drs, and living life as a married couple <3

Kayla & Patrick - Maternity

Kayla & Patrick are near and dear to my heart. They were one of my first weddings back in like 2015! I loved every minute of spending the last couple of years photographing their memories in Chicago. Especially this one! I haven’t meet their sweet girl yet. YET. I hope they come visit me since they moved away from Chicago.
It really warms my heart when I see past couples for their biggest life moments. Nothing is a bigger compliment than that.
Now mind you, this was back in April… - Im THAT behind in blogging. Its fine…
