Jessica & Adam, your wedding was a whirl wind day of so many giggles, and belly laughs. I dont think I have ever laughed at a wedding like I did at yours. Adam was goofy from the minute I met him at their engagement session a few months back. So I knew he wouldn’t disappoint. My favorite moment? When I told him no tongue during their under the veil shot, and he did. So Jess bit him. I was rolling.
When your best friend gets married, you have to double as a bridesmaid AND a photographer. So *some* of these photos are compliments of my second shooter Liz. If I'm in the photo, Liz took it! HAHA! I can't tell you how many times I cried that day. Knowing my best friend was marrying the man of her dreams, at the most beautiful venue. I still tear up thinking about it. I have known Ashlee since high school, so it was for sure special to be able to stand up with her, AND photograph her wedding. I don't think I'll be able to do that again though!
I knew when I met Sarah and David at their engagement session, that I would be connected with them forever. Their love was just radiating off them. Fast forward to their wedding and it was beyond amazing. Little backyard weddings are what I live for. I still look back on this wedding, since some of my favorite images of the summer were from Sarah and David's wedding!
Brown County weddings. Give me mover. Just do it. Go get married in Brown County around October. And then hire me. Nicole and Jeremiah's wedding was super special and totally unique. It fit their personality so well. Down to the decorations, everything (besides me) was a local business. I can't even describe how beautiful their day was. Bright beautiful clouds, changing trees, and a close knit family who made Hannah and I feel welcome. Another dream wedding out of my dream wedding book. I wish there was more I could say. I will let these images speak for themselves. <3
Megan & Niko had hired me back earlier this year for an engagement session on the one weekend Niko was home. I remember Megan telling me they weren't planning on a big wedding, just something small. When she then contacted me around April for wedding pictures, I was ecstatic. When she told me her venue was Aberdeen, I literally jumped for joy. I knew her day was going to be just perfect. They planned a Thursday wedding so when Niko was home, they could get the wedding stuff done, and enjoy the rest of Niko's leave together. I love how they incorporated their dog Bear in the photos as well. I cant even count how many times I cried when speeches were being made. With Niko being in the service, the stories people had of Megan dealing with boot camp and him being overseas just got me. <3
All in all, I'd say they had a truly amazing day surrounded by their family and friends.
