Haley & Michael - The Allure on the Lake, Chesterton, Indiana - Wedding

Haley & Michael were my first wedding of the year and boy did we have a BLAST. I was so excited to get into the newly built Allure on the Lake! They were the second wedding that opening weekend. It was insane to see how amazing everything looked.
Haley & Michael booked a steamy beach mini with me last year, but we ended up doing a creek mini because the beach decided it was going to have toxic materials in the water that day so the beach was closed. We made due with what we had, and it was a blast. They asked me about photographing their super small wedding day and I was SO excited. We had a blast at their session and I just knew their wedding day was going to be special.

These two are perfect for each other, and are now expecting their first little babe. <3

Bridgette & Danny - Engagement

I am MISSING the beautiful golden fall sunsets right now… I know around that time of year I dont take time to appreciate it. Its wake up, edit, do laundry, edit more, go to a session, come home and edit some more and bed. So when its cold out, like how it is today, I take a little time to reminisce…

This was one of my first sessions at this location. and if you’re like me and like weeds… like crawling into weeds for the perfect picture. THIS PLACE IS FOR YOU. SO beautiful.

I am just so excited to see these guys again here in just a few short months!

Jessica & Austin - Sunflower Engagement Session

When your sister in law wants an engagement session at a sunflower field… you do just that!
I am so excited to see these two get married next year… and I dont have to work that day! I get to be a guest at a wedding… for the first time in probably 6 years… haha.
Sunflowers are some of my favorite flowers, and this session was just a bast.

Kelly & Nathan - Lake County Fair Grounds - Crown Point, Indiana

Okay Kelly & Nathan were models in their past lives… or they are models now.. Either way they are stunning and I was so happy I could capture these memories for them!
I dont have much to say, because the images speak for themselves…

It was such a fun day! Nathan and his boys having an afternoon shot, or two. Kelly and her girls getting some ice cream at culver’s! <3

Ashley & Brendan - Chicago Engagement Session

Ashley & Brenden are one of our 2020 couples! We started in their little neighborhood just a few blocks away from the lakefront. There was absolutely no one out, I guess we could thank COVID-19 for that.
I absolutely adored this session. I didnt realize it was going to be one of my last for awhile :(

It was pretty eerie to walk around and not run into anyone, or have to edit anyone out either.
We ventured to the lakefront, Soldier Field, and a sweet little park in their neighborhood.
I have so many favorites so I just made a blog post :)
Cant wait for their October wedding! <3

Kim & Marc - Downtown, Chicago

The last wedding of 2019 was one for the books. I enjoyed getting to know these two over the course of the year. It made their wedding day even more special. They had a change of location, and honestly I think it was for the best… I looooooved getting the opportunity to shoot at the Rookery Building in downtown.

Everything fit into place and it was a perfect day. I love these two so much and cant wait to see what married life has in store for them.

Kaitlyn & Nate - Hobart, Indiana

Can I just say, how much I looooove backyard weddings. If you're wanting to host your own backyard wedding, take notes from these guys… I know they worked SO hard on their house and yard that year to make sure it was perfect. Kaitlyn & Nate are the two sweetest people, and their day was just perfect.

The daddy, daughter first look was my favorite of this season. It was the sweetest thing ever.

Basically their day was amazing and one of my favorites this season. <3
