Megan & Trevor are some of the sweetest people I have ever met. Rewind back to like 2019(?) I think. They booked a Christmas mini with me. We had such a fun time and I loved getting to know them. I was so excited when Megan contacted me to photograph their sweet new girl Lennon. When Megan said she wanted to incorporate her wedding dress I was SO excited. This was hands down one of my favorite sessions and I hope I get to see them again here soon!
Okay, I LOVE family lifestyle sessions. It doesnt have to be cold for you to enjoy a cozy evening inside with the kiddos having a dance party and cuddling on the couch! Loved meeting this sweet family!

This was my second lifestyle newborn session after quarantine, and it was just a breath of fresh air…
It was great to catch up with Sean and meet Katie & Gavin for the first time!
Sweet little Gavin was not having it for the first half of the session but after some food and rocking he was asleep and good to go for the last half!
I truly love lifestyle newborn sessions. Its just so nice to be in a clients home and be where they feel most comfortable.
ONE FOR ONE Gratitude photo sessions...
There are so many people who are sacrificing their own time, and their own health for me and my family. SO MANY.
Things are scary, and there are so many uncertainties, its a weird time. While we are cozy at home, watching Netflix, painting, reading, also staying home as much as possible... These grocery store workers, nurses, doctors, truck drivers, farmworkers, police, first responders, firemen, etc....
they are working every day to provide for US, and our families.
Im thinking of the nurses, and doctors that may not even be seeing their families to keep them safe. They are exposed every day.. The grocery store workers who are working round the clock to sanitize, and stock the shelves.
Those truck drivers, who have been away from their families, for weeks, and have been driving for days.
There needs to be a light, there needs to be something to look forward to..
All family sessions booked between now and April 19th, will purchase an additional photo session for an essential front line worker of your choice and their family.

Gianna made her way into this world while I was in California helping my sister move back home. Her parents Jenna & Andy started off as clients, but quickly become great friends. Jenna is my hair stylist and even did my hair for my wedding. I was so excited that they had me do these pictures for them.
Gianna is SO photogenic and that head of hair is to die for. Her parents are just so in love with her. I absolutely loved all of their images that I had NO chill when posting sneaks. I just knew I had to blog their session. <3
I was, EXCITED AS EVER, to meet baby Holden. I will just let these adorable baby photos speak for themselves. <3
Northwest Indiana can be BITTERLY COLD in the winter months. What keeps me going? Lifestyle sessions. Family lifestyle sessions, couples lifestyle sessions, any kind of lifestyle sessions.
I loved getting to meet this beautiful family of four. We danced to 24K Magic, and Girls Like You. Jumped off the counter tops into dad’s arms, jumped and played on mom and dad’s bed, and snuggled in the living room with playdough. It was the best morning.
Lifestyle sessions are my favorite. <3
Its not a secret I don’t get a lot of newborn sessions, so you can understand my excitement when Katy contacted me. I am just IN LOVE with their little family. Sam the puppy really got in on it too. He’s very protective over his little sister. <3 <3 I need more of these. My heart cant handle the cuteness.
I always squeal when Amber contacts me for photos, because, well don’t you have eyes!!? Look at this adorable family. Finley always gives me a run for my money and will very rarely look at me and smile. Which is fine! I prefer just to chase her around and get her looking at the flowers and her sweet cuddles on her parents. <3
Its been a hot minute since I have seen these two cuties! A lot has changed since I have seen them. For one, they are a lot bigger! Kaylyn is talking, Jack is talking even more. I just love these photos. Trish came to me with his idea and I was like ummmmm yes please! I love how these came out! <3 <3
I love this family. Love is an understatement. This would be my fourth session with this amazing family. We finally go these pictures in, and I could not be happier with them. I know Mila and Emerson love their new baby brother. And while baby brother was taking a nap, we played on mommy and daddy's bed!! I swear, Mila is going to be America's Next Top Model. For Real. Just look at this little girl! I can't wait to see this beautiful family again soon!
Right in the first couple days, I had one of my most favorite sessions to date! A little two year old who loved trains! It was an indoor lifestyle session in their home. Everything was perfect! Down to the sun shinning through the amazing windows! I will for sure geek out if I come to your house for your lifestyle session and see TONS of light streaming in through beautiful, big windows!
Okay but enough about the light, even thought it was amazing.
Landon started off shy like any normal 2 year old boy who is not used to playing with this crazy lady putting a camera in his face. He came around after a little bit, I even got a smile or two! :)
