Price Family

This was one of my favorite last minute sessions ever. The Price family had such awesome energy, and were good sports! It was a very special day for them and I could not be happier they choose me to capture these memories for them. You know its laid back session when everyone has a beer in hand and laughing like crazy. I love it! I cant wait till the next time! :)

Courtney & Kurt

Our first scheduled session date, didnt work out and I could not be happier honestly! Our plan was to have the session the day after the snow storm we were expected to get. It almost didnt happen with how the roads were. Thank goodness it did though! These images!!! I cant even. I love them all.

They were the perfect couple to tromp through the snow with. It was freezing. I was without power for 27 hours, and going out in the cold was horrible, and coming home to a cold house and not being able to edit was torture!!

Ill let these images speak for themselves. Courtney & Kurt are the cutest.

Ashlee & Ron

To say I'm excited for Ashlee & Ron's wedding day in August is an understatement. Normally I don't let guys wear their hats in engagement photo's but I took a liking to Ron and let him wear his hat for a few images. They were so sweet and willing to try some of my "not" normal poses!
They are already married, but are having a super awesome big party to celebrate with family and friends. That's the way to do it! Its going to be a blast. I can't wait.

Krystal - Maternity

My first ever in home maternity session. It was pretty difficult, I'm not going to lie! Im so used to being outdoors. I have to say though, this is one of my most favorite sessions to date. The light, the contrast, the emotion! So many beautiful black and white images. <3

These three little girls sure gave me a run for my money, but I'm incredibly happy with how they wanted to take pictures with their mom!

Mom and dad have their hands full with the already three beautiful girls they have. This one is a boy! I know dad is happy!! I can't wait for their little bundle of joy to get here!

Jessica & Alex

This session was done on one of the coldest days of the new year. it was *so* cold. I couldn't believe we even made it 20 minutes. They were such troopers. They are seriously the cutest couple I have ever met. I turned most of their photos to black and white because of the love and emotion. I just saw this session turning that way after I snapped the first picture, and then I couldn't feel my fingers :)
I can't wait to have another session with them! And photograph their wedding because we all know, they are going to get married!

Michelle & Curtis + January 9th 2016

Oh Michelle and Curtis. They were my first wedding of 2016. It was a cold, rainy day. Their location was perfect. I loved shooting at Waterbird Banquet Center! The natural light in those rooms and the little balcony's aded great character to their photos. Michelle made a beautiful bride and I loved seeing Curtis's face when she walked down the aisle. It was seriously so sweet. I could have cried. Oh wait I did! Thats another thing I love about weddings.. I cry. A lot. During the ceremony, during the speeches, during the dances. Im a sucker for a good cry at a wedding.
I was so happy to be apart of their day, even though it rained and we couldn't take pictures outside. We handled it! :) Winter weddings have slowly become my favorite.

And now they are expecting their first little mini!! :) So very excited for this new chapter in their lives!
Congrats Michelle and Curtis!

Katherine & Jamie

Oh I remember this day like it was yesterday. I was not sure if the weather was gonna hold up or not. We had the perfect location, they had the perfect outfits, everything was perfect. I could not have asked for a better set up, rain and all! One of my favorite maternity sessions to date. These guys are so adorable. I cant wait to meet their little girl!

Landon

Right in the first couple days, I had one of my most favorite sessions to date! A little two year old who loved trains! It was an indoor lifestyle session in their home. Everything was perfect! Down to the sun shinning through the amazing windows! I will for sure geek out if I come to your house for your lifestyle session and see TONS of light streaming in through beautiful, big windows!
Okay but enough about the light, even thought it was amazing.
Landon started off shy like any normal 2 year old boy who is not used to playing with this crazy lady putting a camera in his face. He came around after a little bit, I even got a smile or two! :)
These are some of my favorite images!

Baby Zoe - Fresh 48

Oh my goodness fresh 48's are becoming my favorite sessions! Little baby Zoe was so sweet. She smiled and made cute faces the whole time! Fresh 48's are so incredibly fun for me! I love coming to your hospital room and taking pictures of little bundle of joy's just as they are opening their eye's for the first time. Baby Zoe was perfect, absolutely perfect! I had an inhome lifestyle newborn session with Zoe and her Mama which will be blogged at a later date :)

Courtney & Alex + November 6th 2015

Oh Courtney & Alex... two people who are *perfect* together. No joke, they are seriously the two most perfect people I have ever met in my life. I can't even believe I had the honor of being their wedding photographer. To say their day was amazing, is an understatement. Their wedding was "supercalifragilisticexpialidocious" and trust me, I don't use that word lightly, I can barley spell it!
Courtney, is the sweetest person I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. Along with her amazing family who treated me like I was family all day. Alex, you're so goofy, I love it. You have a huge heart and treat Courtney like a princess. I know you guys will have an amazing marriage, you both deserve it! <3

Courtney & Tyler

Oh. These two. Oh goodness... they are the sweetest, most beautiful couple ever. Their love for each other just ooooooozes out of them! Its disgustingly adorable really. I am so so so excited for their wedding this coming July! I was so happy with their engagement session, they made my job easy though! I also love when couples incorporate themselves in their images by bringing things that mean a lot to them and their relationship. Makes my heart super happy.

Colleen & Tucker

I had the pleasure of photographing Colleen & Tucker's wedding a couple months ago! It was simple, and elegant! The church was absolutely adorable, along with their reception at a little restaurant in downtown Valpo. I wish them both so much happiness in their marriage! Thank you for having me as your wedding photographer!

Haley

Haley was the second of my two seniors this fall. We had a blast... so full of energy and willing to do whatever I asked her to do :) Her session turned out better than I could have ever imagined. and that HAIR! She's one beautiful girl, but that hair. I loved when she would just whip that hair around and give me that awesome straight face she does so well. I was in heaven. I can't wait for more senior sessions next year!

Chloe

I don't get many seniors, but when I do I'm always happy when the look like Chloe! She made my job so easy! She fought off a few nerves in the beginning but as soon as she felt comfortable those poses started flying out of her! We had a gorgeous day! It was amazing! Ill let the images speak for themselves :)

Kayla & Patrick

To say I'm excited for their Chicago wedding is a huuuuuge understatement! When they asked if they could incorporate Chicago in their engagement photos, I knew the perfect place to take them! It was such a fun session and the weather was great. These two have been together almost since high school. I am a sucker for cute love stories like theirs! They will be getting married on New Years Eve! So excited!!
