Ron & Ashlee

Everything about this wedding was perfect. The details. Oh my gosh, the details. I am a details fanatic. Ashlee & Ron were already married, but still wanted to throw a party for all their friends and family. I think they did a good job at that. I have not had so much fun at a reception. Those people knew how to party. All the cowboys, line dancing and beer drinking you could think of happened at their wedding. It. was. amazing. The Red Barn Experience in Laporte is the best place for a country like theme! Its beautiful!

Rod & Laura

Oh these two <3 We had a wonderful day for a wedding in August. Their venue was so beautiful! I remember going there as a kid. We would take field trips to see plays at The Center for Visual and Performing Arts in Munster. It really is a beautiful location for a wedding.
Rod & Laura were both so excited to just be married. When Laura said "I do" the look on Rod's face was priceless! Best reaction out of a groom to this date. They both really stole my heart. I cant wait to work with them again. <3 I hope you guys enjoyed your "stay-cation"

Jenna & Chris

When Jenna and Chris contacted me and said that they were from Colorado and were getting married on the beach in Northwest Indiana. I thought to myself, WHY!???! Why would you leave beautiful Colorado for a beach wedding!! Then, after meeting them I understood... these two had such a beautiful hot summer day for this wedding. Surrounded by all of their friends and family. I loved all of their personal touches and adorable details. Jenna looked absolutely beautiful in her beach inspired wedding dress.
Ill let the photos do the talking :) Beach bridal portraits became my favorite! <3

Hannah - Senior

ooooooooooh Hannah. You. are. beautiful. Thank you so much for having me as your senior photographer. I can't get over how adorable you are, and how natural you made these photos look. My job was so easy. I have found downtown Valpo is one of my favorite places for photos. The red brick, alleys, and hidden spots are just perfect for seniors. I had many favorites from this gallery, so I pulled out a few... a few meaning 19... not sorry! Thanks to my friend Aleda, for having such a beautiful sister!

Jessica & Clint

These two. Oh my goodness. I could not have asked for a better day with them. So fun loving and easy going. I have to say its my favorite wedding of the summer so far! I met Jess and Clint at their engagement session last fall and I thought to myself, man these guys are going to be so much fun to be around. We just clicked, it was amazing. I am so very happy they found me :)

Jelena & Dave

Jelena & Dave were married on the hottest day of the year back in June. From start to finish, I thought I was melting. But these two... they were troopers and you totally couldn't tell they were sweating. I have to say, even though VU's chapel has no air, its the most beautiful chapel I have ever had the pleasure of shooting in. I had so much fun getting to know Jelena & Dave, from their engagement session to their wedding day. I especially love when my groom gets caught up into the emotion of the day. I wish you both much happiness.

Sara & Craig

Sara & Craig's wedding day was nothing short of amazing. These two were a blast to work with, as was their wedding party. I loved forming a bond with them. Sara and Craig both work at target so Ill tell you im sure ill see them a lot!
The colors Sara picked out were perfect, matched their personality to a T.  Aberdeen has become one of my favorite venues. Between the chapel and the reception hall. Its incredibly beautiful. Ill just let the images tell the story of their day. It was amazing :)

Ainsley - Fresh 48

Oh. My. Goodness. This session was full of adorable baby yawns and cute big brother smiles. This has to be one of my favorite Fresh 48 sessions to date! I absolutely adore when big brother is all about his new little sister. He couldn't get enough of Ainsley! And those smiles!! I just cant.

Sim's Family New Addition

What do you do when your best friend has a baby? Take your camera over to her house and spend the whole day taking pictures! Yes, that is exactly what you do. I have taken Jackson's photos since he was born, so its only fair I do it for Kaylyn too! I did really spend the whole day there. Saw Jackson after his nap, bath time, and after Kyle got home from work it was family picture time! This family means so much to me. I cant even begin to describe it. I love seeing their kids grow and I am happy that I get to call myself their friend!

2016 Seniors

I had some pretty amazing senior sessions the last couple weeks! I know a few times we had to reschedule Sarah's because of rain. Jordan had one of the nicest day's of the year. Brittany, cant forget Brittany.. it was a HOT day. Super hot, and muggy. Senior sessions are so fun for me because teenagers are willing to pose how ever I want them, mwahaha. But, no really. I love working with these kids. Each one of them had their own unique personality and wanted to be different. I am so excited for the class of 2017. <3

Samantha & Devin + April 9th 2016

An April 9th wedding and there was snow and Ice, but just in Valparaiso. The first half hour of the drive to Indy was pretty hairy, tons of ice, and it was earrrrrrly. I don't do early morning drives with ice, especially in APRIL! I talked to Sam & Devin, literally 10 days before they said "I do". I walked into their hotel room where all the girls were getting ready and felt like I had known Samantha for years. She made me feel like I was her long lost best friend. I absolutely love that feeling. I am so happy I could be there to capture all of these special memories they had. My favorite is when Samantha HAD to be the one that did her own eyebrows. She was super serious too. It killed me.

Everything about this day was just amazing. The venue. Let me tell you. The Sanctuary on Penn has to be one of the three top venues I have ever been to. Its magical in there! I love me some old, rustic, venues and its pretty amazing.

Okay, I admit, I cry a lot! I almost always tear up at weddings, but when Samantha's dad saw her in her dress for the first time, I lost it. That first look was one of the best ones yet. I even said, MY dad better cry like that when he sees me for the first time. I know Samantha's goal was to make Devin cry at least once, sure enough the closer she got to where he was standing the more he started to well up and finally cry.

I could go on and on about how amazing this wedding was and how much I love the photos but ill stop and just let the pictures speak for me. Thank you Devin and Sam for having me and I can't wait to work with you again. <3

Chris & Karissa + February 27th 2016

I met these two lovebirds back in February of 2015 when they had a very small wedding ceremony out in the freezing cold, where the only thing to keep us warm was their love. They decided a small ceremony was best and wanted to have a big ceremony a year later on their anniversary. I secretly hoped and prayed they would once again trust me to capture their very special memories. I was sooooo happy when Karissa sent me and email in December wanting to discuss being their photographer. Over the moon excited me just couldnt wait to see them again!

The day was filled with love, happiness, and tons of tears. I even started tearing up as Karissa walked arm in arm with her dad. All day I kept thinking to myself, this right here is why I love wedding's so much. It was like a light bulb. The emotion, the happy tears, the smiles. Everything during a stressful day of running around, making sure we have all the photos the bride would want, not having but 3 minutes for a potty break or just to wash your hands to feel human again. I love it. I crave it. I am weird, I know.

Weddings are the best. I am so happy I was able to work with Karissa and Chris again. Here's to seeing you both again soon!

Justin & Naomi

My friends. <3. My beautiful best friends are getting married. AND they picked ME little ol' me, to take their engagement photos and be their wedding photographer. What a huge honor! I have known Justice of upwards of about 6-8 years (I lost track, its been too long.) I know as soon as these two got together there would be wedding bells. They fit each other perfectly. I am so happy for them both and can't wait to spend their big day with them! <3

Boudoir Marathon

I had myself a little boudoir marathon a few weeks ago, and it. was. fantastic!!! These ladies right here are such an inspiration. Even though I sit here an preach about how women should feel totally comfortable in their bodies enough to take pictures like these. I know I am NOT, and I know there are others who feel that way as well. That is why I love when awesome ladies like Chelsey, Jess, and Katie contact me. They have taught me, DON'T feel bad about how you look. Totally just own the "flaws" you think you have and go for it!! <3 Beauty comes in all shapes and sizes.

Megan & Nikko

I was so happy when Megan contacted me and asked for a last minute engagement session before Nikko had to leave for another year. These two were so much fun, and such a beautiful couple. I can't even imagine how hard it is for these two. Being engaged and being on two opposite ends of the world. I give these couple's props for being able to deal with it! I for sure appreciate any serviceman, and their sacrifice. I hope to work with these two love bird's very soon!! <3
