Chamber's Family

Oh Wendy and Andy. I have watched you grow from a family of two, to now a family of four. I loved this session. Everything about it. From watching Amelia give her baby brother kisses, getting flipped upside down by her dad, and eating puffs as bribery for photos.
Lifestyle family sessions are hands down my favorite. <3

Summer Fair Sessions

I had SO much fun with these fair sessions this year. I had a lot of couples take advantage of these and I couldn't be happier. These were just so awesome. I don't think I can describe HOW awesome without just repeating myself. The colors, the people dodging, did I mention the colors? It was just a great taste of summer. I had so much fun with all of my couples. <3

Ryan & Amanda - July 14th - Schererville

Amanda & Ryan had the most beautiful day for a wedding. It wasn't melting hot, tears were shed, and two love birds now get to spend the rest of their lives together. I enjoyed their day so much. These two vibed so well their bridal portraits were a breeze! I just couldn't stop!
The best part of the day was when Amanda just picked up her dress, and ran. Which prompted Ryan to just run after her and wrap his arms around her. Hands down the best portrait ever. I knew that it was something special.

Ben & Bethany - June 2nd - Wea Creek Orchard

Ben and Bethany have a special place in my heart for sure. It was a blast on their wedding day, even though it was crazy hot. It was a fun drive down to Wea Creek Orchard, Liz and I sang a bunch of backstreet boy's songs and just caught up! It had been awhile since we had seen each other!
Getting to the Orchard we were overwhelmed with how beautiful the venue was. We got right in there and started detail shots. Then came time for the first look and I just KNEW Ben would NOT disappoint. Of course he didn't.
I just love their images. They left me to move to Seattle... so you know. Im a little salty about that.

Morgan & Devlin - May 27th - The Pavilion at Sandy Pines

y'all now how much I love Sandy Pines right? The natural light in the bridal house is one of my favorite things about this venue. So when Morgan said that she was getting married at Sandy Pines, I about fell over. A spring wedding at sandy pines? I was IN. When we got together for their engagement session I loved how Devlin would look at Morgan, right then I was super excited for their wedding day. <3

Larisa & Josh - May 26th - The Mora Farm

Larisa & Josh were married on May 26th. Memorial Day weekend. it was HOT, HOT, HOT! I felt like I was melting so I'm sure the groomsmen were melting too!
I absolutely loved all of the details Larisa had. She was super detail oriented! We all know how much Loryn loves her details.
The Mora Farm was a new venue for me, and it didn't disappoint.
I loved every single minute of this wedding. Which is why there are so many pictures :)

Karagias Family

Ah, the Karagias family.. I have not seen them enough this year. Sweet, sweet Raiden is their adorable rainbow baby and I can't get enough of her. I was SO happy when they wanted to take family photos before moving to Indy. WHICH I AM SO SAD ABOUT! :(
I absolutely love having them in front of my camera. With Kayla being a photog herself, theres always some pressure. Not with this session! Everything just fell into place. The sunlight was the best part <3

Jackson & Kaylyn - Kaylyn is 2!!

Its been a hot minute since I have seen these two cuties! A lot has changed since I have seen them. For one, they are a lot bigger! Kaylyn is talking, Jack is talking even more. I just love these photos. Trish came to me with his idea and I was like ummmmm yes please! I love how these came out! <3 <3

Jenna & Andy - April 21st - Valparaiso, Indiana

Oh Jenna and Squirrel. I called Andy squirrel because of how often he did NOT pay attention.
I enjoyed EVERY minute of your wedding day. From meeting your super, well behaved doggo, to the adorable speeches that were made during the reception. I had been looking forward to their wedding since their engagement photos last year. I went a little overboard on pictures for their blog post so why don't we just focus on those :)

Ashlee & Donald - October 21st - The Pavilion at Sandy Pines

When your best friend gets married, you have to double as a bridesmaid AND a photographer. So *some* of these photos are compliments of my second shooter Liz. If I'm in the photo, Liz took it! HAHA! I can't tell you how many times I cried that day. Knowing my best friend was marrying the man of her dreams, at the most beautiful venue. I still tear up thinking about it. I have known Ashlee since high school, so it was for sure special to be able to stand up with her, AND photograph her wedding. I don't think I'll be able to do that again though!

Amanda & Josh - September 29th - Avalon Manor

Oh, Amanda and Josh. Those two just kill me. They are addable. Beyond in love. I loved their wedding so much, I wished it was mine! Amanda paid all kinds of attention to detail and looked AH-MAZING. I really don't know what else to say because these guys really say it all. Look at their faces! Look at how Josh looks at Amanda! I mean..... I hope that my boyfriend looks at me like that when I'm not paying attention!

Sarah & David - September 2nd - Hebron Indiana

I knew when I met Sarah and David at their engagement session, that I would be connected with them forever. Their love was just radiating off them. Fast forward to their wedding and it was beyond amazing. Little backyard weddings are what I live for. I still look back on this wedding, since some of my favorite images of the summer were from Sarah and David's wedding!

Amber, Matt & Finley

I had to blog one of my favorite family sessions. We had an evening session, but Finley wasn't having it. Amber told me she normally smiles more in the morning, so we gave it a try! That morning it was foggy and chilly. A perfect October morning.
We got some adorable smiles from Finley. It was the best! I vowed to do more morning sessions. I can't wait for the spring and a warm up!
I love family sessions. They are still my favorite.

Ashley & Kevin - July 29th - Taltree Arboretum and Gardens

Ashley and Kevin were married at Tall Tree in Valpo this summer, and it was magical. I had such a blast getting to know them both, and their cute little man!
I absolutely loved Ashley's details! Her dress, the shoes! I MEAN THE SHOES!
Taltree has been one of my favorite venues this summer. The greens were just incredible!
I really enjoyed their day, so much emotion, which is why a lot of my favorite images are in black and white! <3

Thank you guys for having me capture your big day! I hope to see you both soon!

Breanna & Nick - July 22nd - The Pavilion at Sandy Pines

When I met Breanna and Nick for the first time, I knew these people would have a special place in my heart. I absolutely loved getting to know them from their first consolation, to their wedding day. These two were made for each other and I can't wait to see what the future holds for them. July weddings are normally pretty warm. Well, their day was incredibly warm. The humidity was ridiculous. Sandy Pines is for sure one of my favorite venues in the area. I mean. Look how beautiful it is?? Any time of year this place I just breathtaking.

I was so happy when Bre and Nick decided to have a first look. I knew Nick's reaction was going to be pretty hilarious. He's not a crier, and thats okay, but I didn't know he would giggle the whole time! The pictures speak for themselves on that one. At the end of the evening, the newlyweds had a special gift to their friends and family, a firework show! AND sparklers. I mean, how cool is that?? Some of my favorite wedding images of the year are in here!
